RESEARCH

We have begun our research unit. The timeline is as follows:

May 11-15: In-class practice with research skills

May 14: Research topic DUE

May 18: Four research questions DUE; NoodleTools/database tutorial with Mrs. Fenlon, our media specialist; after school extra help session with Ms. Strout (Room 215)

May 19: In-class practice with research skills

May 20-21: Computer lab to work on project

May 22: WORLD PEACE DAY FESTIVAL (Students will visit the festival during their phys. ed. and English classes; have fun and learn something new!)

May 26-June 3: Computer lab to work on project

June 1: After school extra help session with Ms. Strout (Room 215)

June 3: RESEARCH PROJECT DUE!!

If you have questions (parents or students) - PLEASE ASK! Remember, this project is a Board of Education requirement for moving on to sophomore English! It is worth 170 points! It will be the defining factor of your fourth marking period grade. Do a great job and be proud of your work!
