Hello, everyone!
*Tuesday, January 20, will be your Socratic Seminar. Please think about the seven questions I gave you last week that connect to Gamma Rays and the larger world. Jot thoughts down in your notebook so that you are prepared for and comfortable with each response. Remember: YOU are responsible for guiding the conversation; I will NOT take part in the discussion, as it is STUDENT-LED. Share your opinions, call on your classmates, relate to one another's responses, etc. This is a final opportunity for you to add points to the "Tests and Quizzes" category of your marking period averages!
*At least two days this week (Thursday and Friday) will be set aside for additional midterm review for next week's exam. Bring your study guides; bring the work that you have completed so far (topic sentences, persuasive essay introdutory paragraphs, etc.); bring your index cards; bring your questions and difficulties! Don't forget about your accountability grades! Use this time wisely!
